Techniques

You learn your techniques as you level up. They cost ki: charge it with R between fights.

Using them. Open your techniques with T and drag them onto your hotbar: they're cast with keys 1 to 0.

Combat techniques

Kamehameha

Master Roshi's surging wave. Hold the key to charge (three levels: longer, wider, stronger), release to fire. The beam crashes into the first enemy and pushes it back; if it falls, the beam carries on to the next one. You stay rooted in place as long as you hold it.

Level10

Kiai

A shout of ki: a wave bursts out of you, everything pressed against you is pushed back and briefly stunned, and incoming ki blasts are destroyed. Your answer when you are surrounded.

Level10

Shockwave

A blow struck into the ground: a crack runs out in front of you, and everything on it is knocked over like bowling pins. Turn toward the group before you strike.

Level15

Counter

A one-second stance. The next blow you take is dodged, and returned as a critical hit behind the attacker. If nobody strikes, it is wasted.

Level20

Ki Volley

Three fast blasts, each weaker than an Energy Ball. Pressure from range: your opponent can block them, or send them back one by one with a perfect guard.

Level25

Ki Explosion

You burn all your ki at once (30% minimum): damage all around you based on the ki burned, and everything is pushed back. You are left empty: no teleport and no technique until you land a hit.

Level35

Getting around

Flight

Fly on your ki, stretched out, faster than the Flying Nimbus. Costs ki on takeoff, then every second; at zero, you come back down. Attacking from the air makes you dive at your target. Cast the technique again to land.

Level30

Flying Nimbus

Summons Master Roshi's Flying Nimbus: it swoops down from the sky and carries you, faster than running, over almost anything. It only carries the pure of heart. Cast the technique again to get off.

Learned along the way

Some techniques don't come with levels: a master teaches them to you.

Energy Ball

The first technique Master Roshi teaches his students: a little ki focused in the palm, thrown at the opponent. It flies toward the nearest enemy in front of you, or the one you're targeting, and homes in on it.

Transformations are techniques too: see the transformations.
